Next Leaside Garden Society Meeting – Thursday, April 10, 2014 – Cathy Park – ‘Balcony Gardening’
Cathy Park has been a Master Gardener for 14 years and a member of Leaside Garden Society since she moved to the neighbourhood 20 years ago. Her presentation will discuss a few of the challenges of gardening in a confined space above ground taking into account both the structure of the balcony and where it is located, and provide some solutions so that you can still create a peaceful, colourful garden retreat. Leaside Gardens Arena Donor Wall
The Leaside Gardens Arena Donor wall is a tribute to the many people who donated over $500. So far the arena has raised $3.1 million, bringing it very close to it’s goal of $3.5 million. Donations can be completed online here or by sending a cheque to The East York Foundation, 50 Merritt Road, Toronto, ON M4B 3K6. Charity receipts will be issued. Click here to read more.
